Mobile Deposit

Friend Bank’s Mobile Deposit offers ultimate convenience: Customers with smartphones can make mobile deposits anywhere, anytime and have faster funds availability.

  • Through our TouchBanking app you will be able to utilize this free service*.
  • Mobile Deposit turns a smartphone into a deposit-making device. A customer uses the phone's camera to snap a picture of the front and back of each check, then submits the images electronically to Friend Bank. This enables customers to deposit checks individually, as they are received, reducing the risk of loss or theft and improving cash flow.
  • Once Friend Bank receives the check image, it is ready to be processed, cleared, settled and posted. Mobile Deposit also includes several fraud prevention features. The image quality assurance features ensure that check images are acceptable. If a mobile deposit is rejected, the customer is notified immediately and given the reason for the rejection.

Getting Started with Mobile Deposit:

  1. Log in to TouchBanking. If you have not already signed up for mobile banking, log in to Friend Online Banking and enroll under the options tab.
  2. Select the DEPOSIT tab at the bottom of the page.
  3. Click on Deposit Check.
  4. Choose the account to receive the deposit.
  5. MAKE SURE TO ENDORSE THE CHECK WITH THE FOLLOWING: “FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY TO FRIEND BANK” UNDER YOUR SIGNATURE ENDORSEMENT AND ACCOUNT NUMBER.
  6. You will be prompted to enter the amount, take a photo of the front and back of the check and confirm.

Things to Keep in Mind:

  1. The cut off time is 4:00 PM CDT. Any check deposited and accepted before 4:00 PM will take up to one business day to post to your account. Anything deposited or accepted after 4:00 PM will take up to two business days to post.
  2. Please be sure to keep your check for 10 business days for your records.
  3. The daily limit is $2500.00 combined.
