Friend Bank at Harvard Business School
Representatives from Friend Bank were recently on campus at Harvard Business School to participate in a HBS MBA class discussion regarding Friend Bank. HBS Professor Clayton S. Rose and Senior Researcher Aldo Sesia of the Global Research Group worked with Friend Bank CEO Hope H. Johnson to prepare the case study “Friend Bank: The Time for Hope” which was published by Harvard Business School in May of 2010. The case includes details about the bank’s history, its unique culture and strategy, and the challenges it faces as it continues to grow. The case will be used as a teaching tool at Harvard Business School.
