Friend Bank Supports the Work Of Harbor House (Hear More)
Just like many of you, we are concerned about those who find themselves without a home, especially families and women and children who need a safe place to live as they make the transition from homelessness into stable futures. To help, Friend works side by side with Harbor House, a transitional apartment complex that helps families as they journey back into their American dream. Friend helped their board of directors as they worked out the financing to purchase these apartments which currently serve nine families and more apartments are being refurbished to house more. Our Christmas giving tree in the Dothan branch gave our customers and employees the opportunity to give housewares, linens, and other necessities and their overwhelming response has provided much to bring a sense of home to these families. It’s partnerships like this one with Harbor House that help us with OUR mission-to be more than a square box of accounts but a circle of friends. If you are looking for a new Friend in banking, we would love to help you too. Whether it’s a honey-do list of home improvement projects or the purchase a new home, we’d love to partner with you. You can stop by one of our branches in Dothan, Slocomb, or Geneva or visit our website and ASK A FRIEND. This educational tool can help you explore closing cost, types of loans, and other home financing questions. We are a homegrown bank with a hometown interest in your family and our community.
