Slocomb National Bank names Brooks president and chief operations officer
Judson A. Brooks has joined Slocomb National Bank as city president and chief operations officer announced Hope H. Johnson, CEO. “We’re delighted to have Judson assume this critical position at Slocomb National Bank,” said Johnson. “He brings leadership and experience to this role that will greatly benefit the bank and its customers. It’s a true pleasure to have someone with Judson’s passion for excellence to lead our Slocomb office and our operations.”
A native of Hartford, Al, Brooks has nearly 25 years experience in the banking industry. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University in 1981 and a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University in 1983. Brooks is on the board of directors of the Education Foundation for Dothan’s Future, Inc. and is active in the Dothan-Houston County Rotary Club. Members of Covenant United Methodist Church in Dothan, Brooks and his wife Renee have three children: Reid, a 13-year-old high school eight-grader, Rachel, a 17-year-old high school senior, and Ryan, a 19-year-old sophomore at Auburn University and a member of the Auburn Tiger basketball team.
