1905, chartered by the Comptroller of the Currency as Slocomb National Bank

2007, opened Dothan office
2008, introduced new name and logo, as well as website, online banking, and online bill pay
2009, completed construction of Dothan office building
2010, selected by Harvard Business School as a case study
2012, re-chartered by the Alabama State Banking Department as Friend Bank
2013, opened loan production office in Geneva
2014, converted Geneva loan production office to full service bank
2014, introduced mobile banking
